MotorWatch is inviting others in the automotive community to come forward and join with us in the formation of a Motorists Early Warning System (MEWS).  MEWS is a unique data base assembled over two decades by Motorwatch that will allow motorists to search for vital safety information specific to their vehicle.

We believe that a MEWS will save motorists lives by providing an immediate notification concerning motor vehicle safety investigations and recalls as well as emission-related failures. The MEWS will prevent repeat incidents such as Ford Explorer's with Firestone Tires. Please visit our website for the MEWS Fact Sheet details.

The MotorWatch website was established in 1997 as a clearinghouse for the dissemination of this information to America’s motorists. The MEWS will provide an internet portal for motorists to gain access to safety and emission related data, allowing the motoring public to "plug in" with just an email address and vehicle identification number.

We wish to contact people who can invest a little time making our highways safer. The reward will be taking part in saving lives and the ensuing public cachet. Please join us in the formation of the MEWS, a system which will save the lives of America's motorists as well as reduce vehicle greenhouse gas emissions.
