Motorwatch Supporting Members
We would like to
extend our appreciation to those members have been sending in donations to help
repay the Nutz and Boltz tax debt. As of this point, The Maryland State Tax has
been paid. For those members
who just joined, the State of Maryland came after Nutz and Boltz for sales tax
on our membership dues, and fined Nutz and Boltz to collect back sales tax.
Our debt to the State of Maryland was $15,000 so we have been appealing to our members to help pay back the debt. As of January 2005 the debt had been paid.
We don’t have the space here to list everyone, and list those members who have
donated $50 or more. But you know who you are.
We wish to thank
each and every one of you for helping! All of member donors names will be posted
on the website. And—your tax-exempt contributions are still needed and welcome!

All donations made from this point on will go toward our effort to bring the Motorwatch information databases online for the public to access. Your help in providing a tax-deductible donation to help us bring about this goal would be of benefit to all of the motoring public.
