MotorWatch Technical Committee
In order to provide peer review and validation of materials to be posted on
www.motorwatch.com and published in the MotorWatch Newsletter, we have formed a
committee of the world’s finest technically minded people. We have decided to
call ourselves the MotorWatch Technical Committee (MTC).
The MTC was once called the Society of Automotive Engineers Service Technician
Society Technical Review Committee, which is being resurrected. One of the main
purposes of the MTC is to review automotive material submitted from the
automotive industry order to determine if the material contains logical leaps,
harmful or misleading information, thus to dispel many of the motor vehicle
repair myths.
MTC membership allows the committee members the privilege of the peer review process, as well as:
Advance access to NHTSA Safety Recalls
Free Motorwatch Virtual Membership and $10 discount on Regular membership
Voting privileges concerning the MTC officers and MTC goals
Technical discussions with other MTC members
Input into technical info gathering and verification
Recognition on the Motorwatch website
Advanced access to service, repair, and pattern failure info
Advance access to developing tech articles
A page of publication material every month laid out for use in your own publication
Participation in the MTC is strictly voluntary and there is no time requirements. MTC members participate as little or as much as you wish. No demands are made of MTC members. MTC members can choose to participate in the following activities:
writing/editing articles to be published in MotorWatch,
